Ashley Simpson, PA-C, serves as an experienced certified physician assistant at Boerne Family Medicine where she provides the full range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care. She looks forward to creating long-term relationships and promoting the well-being of patients in Boerne, Texas.

Ms. Simpson graduated from Texas Tech then went to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Science and certification in physician assistant studies.

After graduating, Ms. Simpson practiced as a certified physician assistant, first working in primary care then practicing in the field of hematology and oncology where she performed bone marrow transplants in patients with blood cancers.

While working in hematology and oncology, Ms. Simpson established a chronic care clinic for cancer survivors, creating a place where they could receive care for their chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, and high cholesterol.

She also offered support and treatment for mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety. Ms. Simpson served as an investigator in numerous clinical trials and has published a variety of medical research studies.

When Ms. Simpson isn’t taking care of patients at Boerne Family Medicine, she’s actively involved in volunteer and medical mission work, as well as in her local church. She loves spending time with her husband and two children.
